Jumping to college, she went to CCSU (Central Connecticut State University) where she majored in Education, besides that she took English.
This is her first full time teaching job. Before she taught second grade in Meridian, CT and even before that she taught as a Reading Assistant in Naugatuck grades K-3rd.
After school she loves to bake a play with her Rhodesian Ridgeback Chubbs who actually isn’t chubby at all!
Ms. Griggs love to read books by Janet Evanovich and her favorite genre is mystery and suspense. The name is Griggs, Jen Griggs.
She chose language arts because she loves to read. Her favorite part is teaching new kids and reading new books. Also watching kids put so much creativity into their writing. Her least favorite part is grading and learning the new curriculum. Her second favorite subject is math, but if she couldn’t teach language arts, she would teach science because of all the the cool experiments.
Now you know a little bit about Ms. Griggs, but I don’t think she’ll share her Chinese food!
