She was born in Russia, and lived in a big city called Moscow. Her family still lives there. She lived in the city and in the country on a farm.
When she lived on the farm she learned how to survive. For example, how to get her own food in the woods.
She has lived in the United States for six years.
Madame Elena taught French in New Jersey and in Hamden, CT and taught English as a Second Language in Russia and New Jersey. She went to college in Russia, France, and in the United States.
Madame Elena was a professional diver in Russia. She also played basketball and soccer. Her hobbies include sewing and crafts. She loves to use recycled materials in her crafts.
She has two children, a son in first grade at Mauro- Sheridan and a three-year old-daughter.
Her favorite part of teaching is making French fun by using games to teach. Her least favorite part of teaching is when she has to call parents with bad news.
She loves to travel and has visited almost all the states in the U.S. She has a fish and is getting a kitten for her son. In Russia, she had three cats, one of which is trained like a dog. Isn’t Madame Elena interesting!
