Mauro-Sheridan has a new face for 8th grade math! Ms. Kosloff, a teacher who came here from Hartford, is bringing her skills to educate at Mauro-Sheridan.
Ms. Kosloff teaches math to Ms. Griggs’ sixth grade class as well as the whole of the eighth grade. The Springboard curriculum is new for the sixth graders, and is harder than they are used to, but they think that Ms. Kosloff has done a good job of easing them into it.
Mrs. Kosloff lives with her husband in Branford, Ct. Her three children no longer live with her. Her favorite subject as a kid was math.
She attended Kent State University, then received her master’s degree at SCSU. Ms. Kosloff thinks that MASH has “...a multitude of opportunities and academic programs to help students reach their goals.”
When asked how she felt about the administration here at MASH, she replied that she thinks that the administration is very supportive of the mission that all students should thrive. She taught at Asian Study Academy in Hartford, CT before teaching at MASH.
Also, she reported that she does not have a least favorite thing about MASH.
In all, Ms. Kosloff is a great addition to the MASH staff, and we hope that she will stay here for many years to come!
